We created custom functionality that allows CiviCRM to generate PDF charitable receipts when donations are made. This functionality can be grafted into any CiviCRM install with a little bit of old-fashioned elbow grease. If you'd like to try out the donation process and see the receipt generation in action, make a fake donation!
